7/15/06 – Rubbermaid Medical Solutions (RMS), a division of Newell Rubbermaid, Inc (NYSE: NWL) is relocating its headquarters to Huntersville, North Carolina. Other Newell divisions headquartered in Huntersville include Rubbermiad Home Products, Rubbermaid Foodservice Products, Irwin Industrial Tools, BernzOmatic and Shur-Line.
The move is a strong signal to the market that Newell Rubbermaid is committed to the healthcare market place. Rubbermaid Medical Solutions will continue to build on the brand’s history of innovation and quality with a focus on providing advantages in caregiver workflow and improving the integration of technology into the patient care process.
